POLL about cheese on toast

Do you

a) Toast first in the toaster then put the cheese on and grill

b) Toast on the grill first then put the cheese on and grill a bit more

c) Put the cheese on bread then put in the grill

Something me and my friend is arguing about

umm, none of the above

butter 2 slices of bread, put the bread butter side down on the george foreman grill, add cheese and 2nd slice of bread butter side up, and cook for about 6 minutes - makes the most amazing cheese on toast, especially when you add onions :)

Toast in toaster, sprinkle on Worcester sauce, put on lots of really mature cheddar and grill.

Toast the bread, both sides.
Butter one side, then spread a mix of grated cheese, finely chopped onion, Worcester sauce and a beaten egg.

Pop under the grill until brown and bubbling.

We've just had this for lunch. Yummy

Sometimes with mango chutney under the cheese, or a bit of homemade spicy apple chutney with particularly piquant cheeses.

Deffinately a, but with butter, cheese then lashings of worcestershire sauce. Oh, and the cheese has to be strong..

Same as SMTB. Dss made me some lovely cheese on toast last night, lots of cheese and worcestershire sauce! I do like it with Tabasco and sometimes piccalili (sp)!
