That's it really, have been here since 2005 as cali but I'm now fed up with every so often reading comments about my name being similar to yours and all the confusion it causes.

I have enough major issues to deal with in real life at the moment without reading about me treading on your toes because you chose a nickname that was similar to mine.

Have lurked more than posted but have mostly enjoyed my time here, might be back at some point but it won't be as cali.

I really fail to see your point below. If a third poster is coming on the scene wanting another cali inspired name, califrau was nothing but giving friendly advice to chose something different, to avoid confusion.

FWIW - there is also a quint here. We are distinctively different, but I am sure if somebody were to scour the archives, they might find a place where me or her or both of us refer to the other being around with a similar name. In the light of a whole thread this may look perfectly reasonable, but us pointing that out might look odd out of context.
