Flouncers' corner

Can Flouncers come back in via Flouncer's corner?

It's been two years since I flounced. I didn't even say goodbye.
I used to BE somebody around here. Now look at my stupid username.

Let that be a lesson to all flouncers.

I'm wondering if there's a place mumsnetters can announce their return and there will be the opportunity for unflouncers to make an entrance where people pretend to care?

An unflouncers topic?

I expect the mumsnet orchestra has disbanded so there will be no fanfare.

neverg00gle · 21/03/2017 23:40

yes, i'm so bored in margate what should i do for entertainment.

9 months later,
I should have taken your advice and gone to the turner gallery.

should have been in classics.

neverg00gle · 21/03/2017 23:45

Grin yes yes i remember you.

nevergooglenevergoogle · 21/03/2017 23:48

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 21/03/2017 23:50

PhilODox · 21/03/2017 23:50

Do you still make mosaics, nevergoogle?

nevergooglenevergoogle · 21/03/2017 23:52

i don't. I switched to dressmaking and patchworking to scratch those itches.

MiriamWebster · 21/03/2017 23:53

I was on the list

But I was never a dragon.

But I was a Mortificado!

nevergooglenevergoogle · 21/03/2017 23:55

ha, was it a badge of honour to be on the list?

MiriamWebster · 21/03/2017 23:55

I'd love a de-flouncing corner. Brilliant.

MiriamWebster · 21/03/2017 23:56

I it was actually quite terrifying.

But 'teas long ago so now can be badgey I guess.

nevergooglenevergoogle · 21/03/2017 23:56

and holy crap PhilODox, either you searched my stuff or you have a very good memory.

nevergooglenevergoogle · 21/03/2017 23:57

it was scary, I ran for the hills and forgot to come back.

TheMortificadosDragon · 21/03/2017 23:58

Oh, who? Never did find out who my talented adopted kid (#soproud) was.

(Don't worry if that makes no sense, OP. )

nevergooglenevergoogle · 22/03/2017 00:04

that went straight over my head.

so what have i missed.

i've had a look around and things look much the same.

PhilODox · 22/03/2017 00:12

Oh, that's a shame. No- it's just my memory. Every time I smash a piece of lovely crockery, I think of you, making things into mosaic tables, etc, and I think "shall I?"
then,
"nah!"

PhilODox · 22/03/2017 00:13

Dressmaking's v useful though, with an expanding family etc Wink

nevergooglenevergoogle · 22/03/2017 00:17

how funny that you remember that. that was 9/10 years ago now.

PhilODox · 22/03/2017 00:20

I still remember what outfit I was wearing when the queen visited my school in 1977... Blush
I still remember what questions were on my A level papers Blush

I am cursed, I tell ye.

nevergooglenevergoogle · 22/03/2017 00:21

Grin wow, that's quite a gift.
i remember nothing, ever.

PhilODox · 22/03/2017 00:22

Please swap! I don't want my head filled with my shopping list from 1997!

nevergooglenevergoogle · 22/03/2017 00:26

No thanks. You're on your own with that one.

HoneyDragon · 22/03/2017 06:33

nevergooglenevergoogle · 22/03/2017 21:18

ErrolTheDragon · 22/03/2017 22:33

Nevergoogle really is an inspired choice of what not to google. I've refrained from clicking on the lists it produces.Grin
