Pan's Labyrinth for coming out of the cinema limp and sobbing

Contact for being a very faithfully and well done scifi movie that I've watched over and over

Tarkovsky's Stalker for the best movie ever.

(it is a faithfully and well done scifi movie that leaves me limp and sobbing)

maktaitai - know what you mean about Death In Venice. Saw it years ago when I was very young and it was haunting and mesmerising.

Also Terrence Mallick's 'Days of Heaven' and 'Badlands'.

For fun - Raising Arizona

Recently rewatched The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie for the first time in years so that would probably be top of the list at the moment.
