Requiem for a dream (arty, druggie film set in New York and Coney Island)
Napoleon Dynamite (I love it, bonkers film)
The Descent (really creepy horror film)
Sweeney Todd (or anything with Jonny Depp in really)
The Proposition (set in Austrailia, Western with Guy Pierce, fab film)
Bugsy Malone! (my favourite film when I was a Kid)
Event Horizon (sci-fi) also Sunshine (sci-fi Danny Boyle directs)
Millions (childrens film Danny Boyle directs again)
Agree with Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Anything by the Coen brothers, Being John Malkovitch.
finally South Park the movie (wrong,wrong,wrong, but you can't help singing the songs)

Can't believe I forgot anything directed by Tim Burton. I'm particularly fond of Sleepy Hollow for some reason.

Event Horizon and Sunshine I would categorise as sci-f horror btw, just in case that isn't your thing.
