Lordy Lordy Lordy, how scary does this film sound???
Wild horses couldn't drag me to see it! How do people go to such scary films? How can they be so brave?

i've seen it and i HATE scary films..yes it scared the life out of me but its well worth a watch!

nigelslaterfan · 26/11/2009 01:14

How? How? How ? HOW can you be so brave?!

I particularly hate this kind of film, which makes you scared in your own house!!!!!

zubin · 26/11/2009 06:49

It is terrifying, it even scared the livings out of dh!

cornsilkwearscorsets · 26/11/2009 06:50

Isn't it a 15? What happens?

nigelslaterfan · 26/11/2009 11:34

It's a sort of 'documentary' of a couple in their house who set up a static camera in their room for something like a week because they are hearing noises in their house which they cannot explain.
Apparently it is terrifying! I've never watched the BlairWitch P nor will I watch this. Scary films just stay with me for years and I can't rid myself of them. But I wish I could watch them because I love ghost stories. I just hate being nervous when on my own in the house!
check out the trail on youtube....

It looked TERRIFYING

thelunar66 · 26/11/2009 20:01

Oooh i love a scary film. I really want to see this one. Just need a mate to clutch at go with.

southeastastra · 26/11/2009 20:02

can't wait to see this! hope it lives up to the hype

teameric · 26/11/2009 20:02

I so want to see this film, I love scary movies! Unfortunately I've watched so many over the years not much scares me anymore, hope this lives up to the hype!

Wilts · 26/11/2009 20:04

I couldn't watch it all as I am a wimp .
The camera movement made me feel sick as well, similar to how it was in Blair witch.

It is rather shameful that my 15 year old sis managed to watch the whole thing though, when I couldn't

cornsilkwearscorsets · 26/11/2009 21:18

I liked Blair witch.

mummysgoingmad · 27/11/2009 00:57

its x10 worse than blair witch..but in a good way. i didnt have much of an option nigel, my dp made me watch it...git

nigelslaterfan · 27/11/2009 13:19

I am in Awe at you brave and fearless ones.

Although I'm really drawn to this kind of film I have to stop myself watching it, it will just leave me with The Fear, I know it!

It's like OpenWater, can't watch films that make me think of SHARKS or it puts me off swimming in the sea.
Blardy Jaws.

Well i watched it and was very disappointed to be honest, i just don't get all the hype on it it didn't really scare me, infact was very cheesy in parts. It also copies scenes from a much scarier film from years ago called The Haunting.

Overall a huge let down!

southeastastra · 27/11/2009 13:37

the film with julie harris? that's one of my favourites, what bit does it copy?

pucca · 27/11/2009 18:38

Not sure if it the same one, it is where the mother in particular is haunted, and the ghost touches her leg? they copied in PA as the bed sheets blow up off the bed.

southeastastra · 28/11/2009 22:52

some scary bits, quite enjoyed this, bit worried about bedtime

TaLcYspreadingTheLove · 28/11/2009 23:03

I liked it, not as much as Blair Witch. It wasn't really really scary but i did have bad dreams after watching it.
The bloke in it was a right git.

PurpleOne · 28/11/2009 23:23

Saw this last night, I enjoyed it a lot, and almost jumped out of my seat when the door slammed!

Sesi · 30/11/2009 15:05

I saw this yesterday...... it was not scary at all!!

I was bored (so was DH).

Notalone · 02/12/2009 18:05

I have seen this and thought it was crap too. Really boring. Think its a bit like Marmite - you either love it or hate it

HellBent · 02/12/2009 18:25

I've seen it too, a bit rubbish. It would be more scary if it was real footage.

ShinyAndNew · 02/12/2009 18:30

I love scary films, and they rarely scare me/bother me. But I must admit I was feeling a bit uneasy after watching this and then coming back, alone, to my house that every-one swears is haunted .

It was a good film though.

CitizenPrecious · 02/12/2009 18:35

I get sooooooooo scared

[quivering wibbling emoticon]

Blair Witch stayed with me for two years (no pleasant woodland walks for me, hoh no!) and as for Ring???

brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

needless to say me and dp will be swerving this one. Even the the trailer makes me shit self
