to not understand how anybody can enjoy horror movies?

What would you get out of watching people get killed in various horrific, violent ways?

jem dawn of the dead was a good idea but i got bored!

i watched the original Evil Dead through my fingers....hated it! too gory!
Shaun of the dead is more my thing! lol

oh and what about things like Alien or Jaws....not exactly horror but got my pulse racing! i loved the alien films....but i like segourney weaver.

Yes aliens is a brilliant film! I love the bit at the end where she says 'Get away from her you bitch!' to the alien.
