Nothing too taxing/arty/violent, nothing that will be compromised by being watched in 45-mins installments over a couple of nights. Just your favourite cosy/funny movies, please.

motorcycle diaries - gorgeous scenery, gorgeous men and great music and just brainy enough to make you feel good about yourself!

Marina · 09/03/2005 09:29

Snap Enid! That's my popcorn and ice-cream movie!
Also love the remake of Little Women with Susan Sarandon as Marmee...watched that the night before my wedding with my sister/best woman.
Favourite "stupid funny" movies have to be Steve Martin vintages...All of Me, The Jerk, and The Man with Two Brains. And of course...Some Like it Hot!

Bit of a Heath Ledger moment I know, but A Knight's Tale and 10 Things I Hate About You do it for me when I need comfort food and entertainment.

Just saw "Shall we dance" - cheesy, schmaltzy, totally predictable but excellent for a girl's night in - and Richard Gere in a tux, dancing.
Definitely cosy and quite funny too.

Dahlia · 12/03/2005 18:30

turquoise, I have just been to see Shall we Dance too - I loved it, really good chick flick - especially when Richard Gere came up the escalator in his dance kit - wow oh wow....
