RP is so good but on the whole I found the film disappointing which is a shame as I was looking forward to it so much and had high hopes.

Are they Ruffalo’s real teeth?. I liked the leading woman, her always being there for Mickey brought a lump to my throat.
I hated the torture of the baby alien.
Steven Yeun I loved him as Glenn but not so much it this. Well played though.
Did enjoy it but really didn’t know what it was about before went.

I can sum it up in two words: potential wasted.

Longer version: it was an interesting idea that they squandered. It was almost like they didn't know what they wanted the film to be, a dystopian sci fi with looking at the question of 'multiples' (the murderer with three versions of himself so that he can kill and have an alibi is a great idea) or a Trump/MAGA parody. They couldn't decide, so they tried to do both in the same film. I have liked both Ruffalo and Collete in other films but they were unbearable to watch in this - terrible acting from both. Patterson gave a great performance, but couldn't save it. I have no idea why the dream at the end was left in the final cut.

I have not read the book, so I am judging on the film alone.

I would not recommend the film.

Just watched it with my DH. He dropped off to sleep in the middle, no surprise there poor old boy lol.

Glad I saw it. Deaths didn’t bother me. Torture of alien baby did.
Not what I was expecting and thought several times shit I encouraged DD2 to watch this with her boyfriend (they saw it last week) 😳

Torture of alien baby did.

That was so so awful and upsetting.

Exactly, wasted potential.

Halfway through had no clue what was actually going on anymore as there was a lot happening at once but also not much happening. Very odd. The dream agree why did that need to happen?

"there was a lot happening at once but also not much happening"

I agree @LetsGoFlyAKiteee
