Yes! I saw it on Saturday. Accidentally though because we had been looking at the times for the wrong cinema so turned up and the film we planned to see wasn’t on, Babygirl was so watched the trailer literally as we queued for our popcorn. I’m not sure how I’d describe it to be honest other than a bit strange!

Saw the trailer and it put me off so much.

Cant look at NK any more because she looks like a mannequin anyway.

The trailer shows Stingray faced Nicole Kidman as being a high flying executive who has a dominant/submissive affair. Lots of long drawn out staring at each other and the usual over acting.

Looks like it's going to be a load of old cobblers.

Not yet but will be. I'm in a relationship with D/s dynamic (in and out of the bedroom but not 24/7) and it's hot as hell. With a man the same age though.

In all honesty I’m not sure you’ll be happy with the portrayal of the dynamic in the film. I don’t personally feel it was done well. Very rushed, no real trust there as it was essentially immediate, no real conversations or agreement of boundaries other than “you do whatever I tell you to do” (and yes that’s a direct quote), and consent? I mean, if we are going by ACTUAL consent, as in freely given, it’s not there.

Terrible film - no plot other than she’s having an affair. I only stayed in the cinema as it was part of baby club and I had a nice coffee and cake plus my baby was happy

We saw it last night. Thought it was pretty dull, as above poster says theres no real plot or story. The ending seemed a bit naff as well. Nicole Kidman was quite good I thought, but thats about it.

I enjoyed it. I thought it was a good portrayal of the stupid thugs sexual desire can make people do, and if how people having affairs can compartmentalise what they're doing despite it making NO SENSE to anyone outside themselves.

Also, yes Kidman looks old and botoxed. That's quite a bit of the point. I was struck by how little post-production "smoothing" she had compared to, say. Tom Cruise in Top Gun 2.

He is deservedly a rising star. If you are a Dickinson fan there is one scene that I think you will definitely enjoy.

The acting in this film is definitely topnotch from Dickinson and Kidman. I also love all the clothes Kidman gets to wear. She looks absolutely stunning in all the fashion.

I plan to see it. Elizabeth Day had an update on instagram but it had spoilers so I haven't read it yet. I'm interested to read her take.

Just seen this piss poor and dreary film. What a waste of money although it was nice to see Harris.

Nicole as always looked slightly ridiculous and why was it a 18? The sex scenes were pretty tame.

Oh but there is a plot - it is just a bit hidden behind the steamy sex and you have to work it out for yourself. SPOILER ALERT!!! The character Esme is key. She orchestrates the whole thing to get leverage for a big promotion. That is the story line. It is about women scheming to break through the glass ceiling and role reversals.

There was nothing at all to suggest Esme orchestrated the affair @mugglewump

I agree, though I did think it was odd that a man with such an uncanny ability to work out what people wanted just so happened to start seeing his affair partner's EA. Unless he was just being what Esme needed too...?

I thought the bit where he wanted "therapy" and confessed that sometimes he scared himself with his ability to read people was really interesting. It looked like he was genuinely trying to connect and be vulnerable there, but Romy was so into what she wanted him to be she didn't really pick up on it.

As for the sex, it was explicit enough my teens would have been happy to miss it.
