Aesthetically pleasing, boho, coming of age films

Please recommend to me some coming of age films that are beautiful to watch. Preferably romantic, slow and arty, and strongly atmospheric. Not quite sure how to describe what I mean, but some that I’ve seen already are Call Me By Your Name, My Summer Of Love, Stealing Beauty, Sex And Lucia, Amelie, Blue Is The Warmest Colour, Swimming Pool.

These are some of my favourite films but few people seem to have heard of them (none of my friends have ever seen them). The scene in the booth in the record store is perfect - neither character says a word but the attraction and slight awkwardness between them is just beautifully done.

My first thought as well.

Before Sunset (the second in the trilogy) is one of my fave films. The script! The acting. The scene in the taxi. 😢 Sublime.

I know this is an old thread, but I watched a lovely, funny, authentic-seeming coming-of-age film recently: Adventureland (2009). Great soundtrack, too. I think it's on Netflix at the moment.

Unorthadox - growing up and escaping a strict Jewish community
Sound of metal - not coming of age but beautifully filmed and thought provoking film about a drummer in a band who loses his hearing and how he comes to terms with it. One of my favourite films.

Bad seeds - this is a french film about a troubled man who's life is turned around by a class of teenage misfits

About time- a young man with a gift tobrravel back in time. Not very Boho but very sweet and funny.
