Haha we do have a picture house v near us but no I’m an Everyman member - 2 for 1 on Mondays and for independent films. I did see The Boy and The Heron at the Picturehouse as our Everyman didn’t show it - that was a great film!

I wanted to see The Boy and the Heron, but it was only on at our cinema for a couple of nights, and I was ill 😕.

Ghostbusters Frozen Empire, it was a good, fun film to watch with the kids. We thought the main baddie was a bit of a let down though and was beaten quite quickly in the end.

One Day. I think I'm the only person (ever) who liked it.

SwordToFlamethrower · 15/04/2024 01:44

Godzilla and King Kong, brilliant! Before that, Ghostbusters Frozen Empire. Also brilliant!

Mama Mia Here We Go Again in 2018 with ds, we were first in the cinema for the first showing on the day it was released.

AstralSpace · 15/04/2024 02:08

Interstellar when they were playing it in some cinemas recently. I'd never seen it and it was excellent.

Paninaro94 · 15/04/2024 02:19

Monkey Man yesterday, loved it.

Mothership4two · 15/04/2024 07:51

Dune 2 which I loved.

We don't go very often - once or twice a year.

cassiatwenty · 15/04/2024 16:03

Dune 2

'One Child', this year. Might go to transmission of Carmen at local cinema, in May I think.

Civil War on Friday. We have Limitless so I go once a week minimum.

TunaCrunchy · 15/04/2024 17:17

I watched Civil War yesterday and Back to Black on Friday.

TheRealKatnissEverdeen · 15/04/2024 20:44

@TunaCrunchy was Back to Black any good?

TunaCrunchy · 15/04/2024 21:03

Very good.

The Little Mermaid remake. I did want to see Wonka but ds was invited to go with a friend to see it, so I missed out.

Haven't seen Wonka, but The Little Mermaid remake (from 2023,) was a load of shit IMO.

35andThriving · 17/04/2024 15:19

I liked The Little Mermaid.

teraculum29 · 17/04/2024 15:54

Leo Grande (2022), and before that The Conjuring (2013), so it will be few more years when I go next, lol

Abracadabra12345 · 19/04/2024 22:49

I enjoyed it! I think it's frustrated some people though. It's a character study and doesn't give much context.

Dontjudgeme101 · 20/04/2024 13:18

Back to Black a couple of weeks ago.

MarilynBoo · 20/04/2024 15:09
