Wow, that's ages ago! Why haven't you been since?

I go to the cinema a lot. Maybe once or twice a month.

TroysMammy · 14/04/2024 23:49

Top Gun Maverick or is it Top Gun 2?

Seacatt · 14/04/2024 23:50

Same. Last week. Was almost convinced to take my two DC to watch it again today.

BaaBaaMa · 14/04/2024 23:51

MrsBungle · 14/04/2024 23:52

DazedandConcerned · 14/04/2024 23:53

Napoleon. Walked out half way through.

YoongiMarryMe · 14/04/2024 23:56

Ghostbusters, last week.

Going on Tuesday to see Godzilla X Kong

EBearhug · 15/04/2024 00:03

Wicked Little Letters

RachelsTrifle · 15/04/2024 00:04

Ghostbusters yesterday, bit long I thought...

Beamur · 15/04/2024 00:04

Dune 2 a couple of weeks ago. It was great.

Screamingabdabz · 15/04/2024 00:15

Barbie.

I’ll only go to the blockbusters. Too many people ruining the cinema with noise and phones.

bradpittsbathwater · 15/04/2024 00:16

Dune 2

Dune 2 a couple of weeks ago. It was great.

We did as well.

Barbie before that.

And before that, it had been ages.

PebbleDashAtOne · 15/04/2024 00:21

Drive-Away Dolls a few weeks ago.

ButterflyKu · 15/04/2024 00:23

I watched Civil War today

TheSmallAssassin · 15/04/2024 00:23

I was supposed to be at the cinema today to see Do The Right Thing, but I have a cold, so the last film I saw out was Dune 2. We started going more regularly when we didn't need babysitters any more. We usually go to the local Picturehouse, so it's generally pretty civilised 😁

In the last month I’ve seen:

Monster (Japanese film - amazing highly recommend)

Monkey Man - massively disappointing

Perfect Days - Japanese film - totally amazing - one of the best films I’ve ever seen

Drive Away Dolls - OK but ultimately disappointing- could have been so much better

I go to the cinema a lot!

Other films seen this year:
Past Lives - amazing
All of us strangers - amazing
Wicked Little Letters - ok
One Love - better then I expected
The Holdovers - really touching
Wonka - I enjoyed
Poor Things - v good
Vanya - National Theatre live - outstanding

ButterflyKu · 15/04/2024 00:29

Haha we do have a picture house v near us but no I’m an Everyman member - 2 for 1 on Mondays and for independent films. I did see The Boy and The Heron at the Picturehouse as our Everyman didn’t show it - that was a great film!

MrsAvocet · 15/04/2024 01:20

Ferrari a few months ago.
I went with DH and DS who were disappointed because there was too much about humans and not much car footage whereas I rather enjoyed it for the same reason. And it was visually stunning.

MissingMoominMamma · 15/04/2024 01:27

Anatomy of a Fall, about two months ago. Really enjoyed it.
