The one with Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock playing cops.

Think its called The Heat

Oh god yes, The Heat. Absolutely perfect comic timing and deadpan deliveries from the pair of them.

'Was he a hearing man?'

And the tracheotomy scene. 'I know what I'm doing' <scene pans out to absolute blood bath>

Bridesmaids was a LOT funnier than I expected.
Shaun of the Dead.
I love Laurel and Hardy films too.
Some Like It Hot is genius from start to finish: "Nobody's perfect!"

The Heat
Bridesmaids

Sandra Bullock and Melussa McCarthy are great comedic actors

Sandra Bullocks character in The Proposal also has me laughing out loud.

WhereYouLeftIt · 23/01/2024 19:59

Melissa McCarthy features in two of my funniest films - The Heat with Sandra Bullock, and Spy.

Bridesmaids always makes me laugh!

I just genuinely don't get what was funny. I honestly didn't laugh once or even smirk.

SammyScrounge · 13/04/2024 01:17

The Goodbye Girl with Richard Dreyfus. He plays a not very successful actor who lands the lead role in Richard III. The director is gay and wants Richard III kind of glamorous so Dreyfus refers the villainous lines but has to look attractive. He ends up begging for the withered arm or the hump back. Still makes me laugh.
Tootsie was hilarious too.
