I'd say Atonement was one of my favourite films. I also loved Gosford Park & Remains of the Day.

I feel like I have watched everything in that category. Could you tell me any of your favourites, in case one slipped through the net.

Forsyte Saga is my favourite series.

There's lots of period series on Netflix, often produced overseas which varies the topics a bit.

Forsyte Saga with Damian Lewis and the wonderful Gina McKee. Also The TV adaptation of Trollope’s The Way We Live Now.

Last I checked it was available on the main 3 streaming platforms (Netflix, Amazon & Disney) hopefully it’s still on because if you loved the other two you will love Brooklyn!
