Recommend a film to me please?

I'd say Atonement was one of my favourite films. I also loved Gosford Park & Remains of the Day.

I feel like I have watched everything in that category. Could you tell me any of your favourites, in case one slipped through the net.

The Whale, Brendan Fraser

I watched Summerland with Gemma Arterton today. Really enjoyed that one. Set predominantly in wartime Britain about a writer and relationship with an evacuee it was quite moving.

A second vote from me for The Dish - an absolutely brilliant, heart-warming and very funny film.

Maurice, if you would enjoy a period gay male love story. It's very emotional. (I think it's Merchant Ivory, but I'm not sure.)
