I defo recommend 👌
I watched it last week and it was one of the best films I've seem this year. Phoebe was magnificent and I felt like I was watching classic Indie from the 80's. I didnt want the film to finish!

We loved it. (DH and teen dd’s)
Dh’s parents thought it was a bit far fetched with the time travel as the other films weren’t. 🤣
But having your face melted, getting your heart ripped out and mind controlled, holy grail healing powers, alien skulls and being transported away are all more believable right enough !

I saw it yesterday, agree with lots of the previous comments about it being too long and too many chases.
I would have preferred more 'normal' life Indie and a more clever storyline.

The problem with the technical wizardry with the younger Indie was that I was too busy looking to see how authentic it looked, rather than just enjoying the action. It was very clever, but there was something of the essence of HF that was missing.

Too many chase scenes for my liking, but apart from that I thought it was ok. The de-aging technology though. Wow!

We loved it - it was a bit long, but I thought the chase scenes were all really fun, and the end sequence was fantastic

Just back from the cinema. I would have enjoyed it a lot more if it had been 30 minutes shorter. I liked the CGI Harrison Ford at the beginning and I thought it got into its stride for the last hour. But yes a bit soulless. I didn't like PWB or the teenager characters and it seemed to me that they'd done some judicious de aging on PWB as her forehead seemed suspicious motionless.

DH loved it though and it wasn't dreadful.

I’m in two mind, I really enjoyed the experience, we are huge Indiana Jones fans.
DS was obsessed with him as a little boy, had all the gear and we named our dogs Indy and Brodie ( after Marcus Brodie) . We all watched it together ( DS 25 and DD30) so that was very special, but the actual film could have been shorter and I can’t stand PWB, thought she was dreadful. Harrison Ford is still gorgeous though!!

It’s now available to stream.

I agree with many others, this was much too long, like at least 30 minutes. Too many boring chases (it was like the writers couldn’t think of anything else) and the whole thing had a by-the-numbers feel. Some of the CGI was distracting and how old is Indiana supposed to be in the contemporary scenes anyway because he looked younger than late 70s when he filmed this, did they de-age him in those scenes too, like they did with PWB? The story was dull…I really couldn’t have given a shit about some blooming dial. More peril and danger would have helped. It’s been one of the biggest flops in recent years, unsurprisingly.
