I enjoy off beat films, that make you think or surprise. Can be disturbing or not. Any recommendations?

Jane Campions Sweetie - yes. I remember being really fascinated by it in my late teens - 30 years ago, blimey that time went fast!

I loved Everything Everywhere All At Once, if you haven't seen that.
The Menu is another odd horror film.

If you enjoy Koyaanisqatsi there are others (think it's a trilogy). Baraka and Chronos are similar movies to make you sit there and just be mindblown.
