What were your favourite parts of the series? I loved the episode when she meets up with her ex partner, you just want to keep watching to see if she will end up sleeping with her! I also liked the bit where she tricks the guy and brings in a different man with the same name, that was clever.

Who would you recommend the series to?
I loved it, my husband was not so bothered. But my dad really liked it, I think my dad likes the politics in it, maybe also the lesbian lovers!! My sister loved it too, she’s really into period drama. The costumes were great. 😀

What did other members of your family think of the series? My kids did not get into it really and wandered off to do their own thing- which was good as some bits were not suitable! My mum liked it and watched it all, but she was not into it as much as me and my dad, we want the next series quick!💯

What were your favourite parts of the series? Loved the fact that time and again Anne Lister stands up for herself, believing she is equal to men and seeing no harm in doing things that "usually a man does". Well articulated story, clear diction, nice costumes.
Who would you recommend the series to? Anyone really....its a good story.
What did other members of your family think of the series? My husband wasn't too keen....he got bored before the first episode finished. My kids are too little to watch it (not appropriate!). My friends had a mixed reaction to the series.
