Has anyone watched this on Prime this week? I keep thinking about the ending

I am way too attached to Daniel Craig's Bond!

I thought the new female characters were excellent though

God I absolutely hated it. The first 20 minutes not so bad and I loved the Anna DA character part - old school Bond - but otherwise it felt try hard, weak villains, simpering love interest, and just a general shit fest. I think they've probably slowly gone downhill since DCs Casino Royale.

I get the Bond character is a dinosaur now however many books/films centre characters who are far from perfect - he's a trained assassin FFS, of course he's going to have issues by the bucket load and not actually be very nice!

And writing it in a way to set up for a new age Bond ... lazy actually. I'd prefer a new character with their own back story. Irritates the shit out of me when the back story Fleming created is binned to make Bond sanitised and inclusive.

Aaaanyway, I didn't enjoy it. Can you tell?

According to my geek husband it says this every time.

I know - it's why I watched it. Difficult for him to return if he is actually dead.
