Favourite old classics?

DD16 and I have been watching the odd movie together (loved the chance to spend time with her!) and she really enjoyed Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Singing in the Rain.

Obviously lots of outdated stereotypes in these films that's she's more than aware of but she loved the music, fashions, comedy and wonderful dancing.

Any favourite old movies that we could add to our list?

No one has mentioned Meet me in St Louie, Railway Children or Little Women...classics. She may also like Cathrine Cookson adaptations...also brilliant.

Ice Cold in Alex is a stone cold classic.

I love The Yellow Rolls Royce. It follows the car through various owners. Got some big stars in it too.
