RZ was excellent, as was the entire cast (love Bella/Lady Mormont, what an exciting future she has in store!)

There was one schmalzy scene which is either affecting or cringeworthy depending on your POV.

I read afterwards that Fenella Woolgar portrayed Margaret Hamilton (the Wicked Witch actress) but I can’t remember her in it! On that note, the flashback scenes were superb, really showing how the seeds were sown at an early age - Mickey Rooney’s disinterest, the pills, the food denial, the sleazy boss.

Thought I’d missed this as it was taken off for Halloween but it’s back again this week

My hearing isn’t great and had trouble understanding what she was saying but no trouble with the English actors. Was always a JG fan saw her at the Dominion when I was about seventeen and belonged to her fan club. I remember her dying in Chelsea and reading how a Dirk Bogarde spent a lot of time supporting her and building her confidence up when they made a film together. The film was okay and was pretty truthful to the memories of reports around that time.
