I second Das Boot. I saw the directors cut at the cinema about 20 years ago, having watched it previously on TV, it was absolutely incredible on the big screen. The characters, the claustrophobic setting, the sounds, the tension.

My fav is/was "Mama Mia" , since watched newer film ( Here we go again ) I'm a big softy like animation love stories like " Brave ", " Train your Dragons" lost faith in "Love Actually " and " Pretty Woman" one older man told me " for every goose theres a gander"

Dead Man Walking. Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon put so much into their roles, especially Sean, (Plus his hair was a thing of beauty...shallow I know). Made me consider the death penalty in the USA after a lifetime of being pro. It’s a masterpiece as far as I am concerned
