Watching 'A knights tale' and instead of enjoying an old favourite I'm just thinking about how upsetting it is that Heath Ledger is dead.
Which beloved actors do you re-watch and end up feeling are now greatly missed?

Caroline o'hearne who starred and a wrote the Royal Family - such a talented woman. Died young.

Still got a soft spot for 10 things i hate about you too.

That and a knights tale are two films that I'll always stop on when flicking through channels. I saw pictures of his daughter recently and she looks just like him. So sad that she never got to know him growing up.

John candy too. Liked uncle buck as a kid and I only recently watched planes, trains and automobiles. Such a great film and his niceness just comes through the screen.

Jonathan Brandis who played young bill in the original It tv movie. He was only 27 when he committed suicide. I always feel a bit sad when I see it and wonder what happened to him as a child in Hollywood

Victoria Wood, John Candy and from music industry, Jeff Buckley, Michael Jackson

James Dean

He does seem so young and carefree in A Knight's Tale and it makes you wonder how it could have gone so wrong just a few years later.

I had forgotten all about Brittany Murphy. Absolutely tragic death, and her widower subsequently died of the same thing.

Robin Williams for me too, brilliant actor. And Patrick Swayze was my teenage crush, I still love to watch him in Dirty dancing.
I also find it sad how Whitney Houston's life played out. She was such a fantastic singer, and I loved dancing to her music when I first started going out, its a shame how she went down the wrong path after having the world at her feet.

I'm not sure I could enjoy 10 Things I Hate About You nowadays, very sad to have died young.

Yes to Heath - the end of Brokeback Mountain always has me bawling now. And 10 Things I Hate About You is literally one of my favourite films: so underrated!!

Elisabeth Sladen. The Sarah Jane Adventures are all available on iPlayer at the moment and the kids are working their way through them, I am really sad that she died while making that show.

'What is it about this chick? She have beer flavoured nipples? ' is one of my favourite lines from a film ever!
