I saw this today and I thought it was great. I even had a little cry in parts. Anyone else seen it yet?

just to add that the male lead looked and acted like a complete psychopath his eyes and the female lead was made to come across as dippy and utterly naive. We are pretty no nonsense and dc know about death, we don't prettify things, There was nothing 'natural' about this movie and it was just appealing to the very lowest in people. Really, really shit. Most of the families we know hated it too.

I thought Mr McG dying and then all the animals having a party in deceased man's house absolutely disgusting. I really couldn't get past that storyline. Why let McG die like that?ConfusedThe rabbits just seemed totally unlikable, thieves/armed robbers with no conscience! Hardly the cuddly creatures of Beatrix Pottter. The violence was just not necessary and really didn't suit the film.

We need to start a petition to get this film remade immediately!

It was a bit like Home Alone with crazed rabbits.

That made me laugh. If you like the film you are scum and all my friends think so too so ner!

I'm not a Peter Rabbit fan particularly but I enjoyed it and so did my 6 and 9 yo. I went in expecting to hate it as thought it was going to be horribly twee. Was a pleasant surprise. Maybe if my children were younger I wouldn't have been very impressed though.

Yes, I agree. I thought they were horrible - not cute or appealing at all. My sympathies were entirely with the McGregor family. I'd have used a 12-bore on the lot of them.
