I'm curious to know what ages it's pitched at. My sister has suggested we take both our families to see it and then go out for pizza (all boys) their ages range from five to fourteen. Are we bonkers or do you think everyone will be happily entertained?
I feel very nostalgic towards Charlie Brown I must say, but is this film any good?

I was disappointed too. I was really looking forward to it but I think the cartoon shirts were much better.

Cartoon shorts not shirts. Damn phone.

I thought it was beyond dreary. Dd like it though, she's 9.

It is basically sweet, old fashioned nostalgia.

DD (11) DH (46) and I (40) went on Christmas Eve - DH is a huge fan and we have a houseful of Snoopy/Peanuts memorabilia, and he did nod off at one point.

On it's own merits it's very gentle and quite entertaining, but in the context of what we've come to expect from animated films these days I can see why people were a bit 'meh' about it.

If you can get cheap tickets it's probably worth it, but otherwise I'd wait for the DVD.
