Last night I watched the silliest film I think I've ever seen in my life!

Blades Of Glory www.imdb.com/title/tt0445934/. It was on BBC3 and I think it's still on iPlayer now. It was so ridiculous I had to keep watching it Grin

Anyone seen anything worse?!

We loved it, have had the DVD for a few years.

It takes different folks eh?

ProcrastinatorGeneral · 15/11/2015 16:45

Nope, I think Blades of Glory is just about the worst thing I've ever seen :o

cardibach · 15/11/2015 16:47

Sharknado. Although I haven't seen Blades of Glory - not my thing at all.

MajesticSeaFlapFlap · 15/11/2015 16:48

Balls of steel

Like blades but with ping pong

FruVikingessOla · 15/11/2015 16:50

partial, I didn't say that I hated it. I just meant that it was certainly the daftest film I've ever seen. I used to ice-skate (although badly) for many years and I used to be a reasonably competent skier - so I love Winter sports.

But that had to be the craziest film I've ever watched Grin

It's awesome! I've seen 5 or 6 times!

YakTriangle · 15/11/2015 16:52

It's ridiculous but very funny Grin

IWasHereBeforeTheHack · 15/11/2015 16:52

It's hilarious!

Arrowfanatic · 15/11/2015 16:53

It's brilliant! Try Hot Tub Time machine!

EnaSharplesHairnet · 15/11/2015 16:54

I loved Blades of Glory although it wasn't great. Ridiculous sums it up!

MrsCrimshaw · 15/11/2015 17:15

Try Megashark vs Crocosaurus! I was once forced to sit through this. It's a B-movie with hilariously poor special effects. Unlike Blades of Glory which I believe is intentionally comedic ;) Typical Will Ferrell - not a patch on Anchorman though.

EnaSharplesHairnet · 15/11/2015 17:16

There's the one about the average people who wake up in a future dumbed down USA and are treated as geniuses. Quite scary really!

ginmakesitallok · 15/11/2015 17:17

Sharknado or snakes on a plane. Terrible films

PerspicaciaTick · 15/11/2015 17:17

I love Blades of Glory. Will Ferrell is awesome. It makes me laugh no matter how shit the day has been.

experiencedhider · 15/11/2015 17:17

Second Hot Tub Time Machine. Quite bonkers :)

Tapirbackrider · 15/11/2015 17:19

Ena

That's Idiocrasy - it's got Luke Wilson in it.

EnaSharplesHairnet · 15/11/2015 17:21

Yes, that's it thank you!

It's bad but I like it too.

BrianCoxReborn · 15/11/2015 17:22

Sharknado is just....bizarre. I'm still not sure if it's food-bizarre or bad-bizarre or so-bad-its-good bizarre.

Luke Wilson is the most overrated actor ever. The man has no talent, comedic or otherwise and as for him being a sex symbol...to whom exactly???

I have irrational dislike of him

BrianCoxReborn · 15/11/2015 17:23

Good not food ??

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 15/11/2015 17:24

I see Sharknado has already been cited.

The best worst film you are ever likely to see!

However given I love a bit of cheese in a film I shall be giving Blades a go too

Talkmeoutofthis222 · 15/11/2015 17:24

Tremors. Silliest film EVER.

PerspicaciaTick · 15/11/2015 17:34

BoG is right up there with Zoolander.

FruVikingessOla · 15/11/2015 17:42

Oh yes, Talk. Tremors - but I could watch that until the cows come home just because of Kevin Bacon!!

I was quite enjoying "From Dusk 'Til Dawn" until everybody turned into vampires half way through. Still watched it to the end, though I wished I hadn't bothered! Utter drivel.

bertsdinner · 15/11/2015 18:07

"Piranah, Flying Killers" ( something like that anyway), was pretty ludicrous.
I also thought the last "Jaws" film where the shark was hunting down the dead cop's wife/family, was a Jaws too far.
