What's your favourite film/tv kissing scene?

I love a good kissing scene, makes me feel all fuzzy, but also very jealous Grin

Some of my favorites are

The episode of Miranda where her and Gary keep trying to kiss, but keep getting interrupted/broken off.

The ugly truth lift kissing scene.

50 shades (yes I know, but I love Jamie Dornan)

The friends episode where Ross and Rachel first kiss.

There are lots more, but they are the ones that come to mind.

We're going to move this thread over to films in a mo - FYI

sashh · 06/11/2015 13:31

I've just been looking at these on youtube - the add that's popped up is for durex!

DingleberryDip · 06/11/2015 13:33

Anne Elliott and Captain Wentworth's kiss in the 1995 version of Persuasion.

Bambambini · 06/11/2015 16:15

Ooh, was looking at some of these on YouTube and a scene from Catch Release (never heard of it) had a pretty darn hot smooch scene between Timothy Oliphant and Jenifer Garner - off to cool down a little.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 06/11/2015 18:22

Oh Desperately Seeking Susan, Madonna and the punk guy in Battery Park. When she wrapped her legs round him my tweenage hormones jumped up. I desperately wanted to be Madonna.

NashvilleQueen · 06/11/2015 18:30

Harry Pearce and Ruth in Spooks. Years of yearning then she had to leave (came back much later but went the way of most of the Spooks cast)

Also Thomas Shelby and Grace in Peaky Blinders. Although there's something more attractive when they just hug (after he's bludgeoned that man and is covered in blood). In fact every scene with him in makes me go a bit wobbly.

WanderingTrolley1 · 06/11/2015 21:08

Spiderman upside-down kiss in the rain.

Benicio Del Toro and Reece Witherspoon in Excess Baggage.

Dobeedo · 06/11/2015 21:35

Wasn't it Alicia Silverstonw in Excess Baggage, Wandering?

WanderingTrolley1 · 06/11/2015 22:15

Yes, Do. I stand corrected. I became somewhat distracted watching it again.

VulcanWoman · 07/11/2015 13:47

Yeah, I liked Excess Baggage too, great chemistry, those two went out in real Life apparently.

WhiteHairReally · 07/11/2015 16:43

So glad North and South and Room with a View have so much support.

In the 'non kiss catagory' I'd like to add Edmund and Fanny in Mansfield Park ( film version) in his brother's sickroom, after she's just witnessed some naughtiness. SO much more exciting than when they finally get sorted at the end of the film.

Y Tu Mama Tambien

Wild Things

[Outs self with raving polyamorous bisexual emoticon] Blush

Bambambini · 07/11/2015 17:51

They didn't kiss, but the scene in the bedroom after the fire between Fassbender's Rochester and Mia Wasanameagain Jane Eyre was electric. I was quite hot and bothered when I saw it first time.

Duckdeamon · 07/11/2015 20:48

Not impressed with this being moved to film section: chat was fine! And many posts are about TV.

Pedantic.

Bambambini · 07/11/2015 22:19

I know what you mean but threads in chat disappear. This will stay in Film I guess for people to read and add to for a long time.

Off topic a little as not just a kiss but I love the burgeoning relationship between Heath Ledger's Patrick and Kat in 10 Things I Hate About You. The scene at the track where he sings I Love You Baby just melts me.

Bambambini · 07/11/2015 22:46

Poor Heath, he was so gorgeous and so talented. Him falling in love in The Patriot was was so touching and sweet.

ARichVernacular · 07/11/2015 23:25

Bam I love 10 Things I Hate About You too. Their relationship is really sweet and quite genuine amidst the ridiculousness of the plot.

CherryPicking · 09/11/2015 10:04

Yy to 10 Things I hate about you!! I love the bit where he has to explain to her that his Australian accent isn't just a pretentious affectation... Heath was just so beautiful. Ex wanted to name our son after him, which may be ex's one redeeming quality.

DPotter · 09/11/2015 10:16

has to be Sherlock and Molly ! That hair ruffle.......

OnePlanOnHouzz · 09/11/2015 13:20

Off to trawl through 'you tube' over my lunch break !!!

Brilliant idea for a thread !! Thanks OP ! SmileThanks

sashh · 09/11/2015 16:11

You will be pleased to realise I have introduced a whole group of teenagers to 1 things I hate about you, although I was a bit shocked when asked,"who's Keith Ledger?"

Yes it was educational

OnePlanOnHouzz · 10/11/2015 14:11

Cute one rather than sexy !!
