What's your favourite film/tv kissing scene?

LittleMissAIBU · 04/11/2015 09:50

I love a good kissing scene, makes me feel all fuzzy, but also very jealous Grin

Some of my favorites are

The episode of Miranda where her and Gary keep trying to kiss, but keep getting interrupted/broken off.

The ugly truth lift kissing scene.

50 shades (yes I know, but I love Jamie Dornan)

The friends episode where Ross and Rachel first kiss.

There are lots more, but they are the ones that come to mind.

I like George Clooney and JLo in Out Of Sight. I don't like her in anything else, but those two had real chemistry together.
I also agree with the peeps who have mentioned A Room With A View - perfect kiss in a perfect movie.
I am however a total saddo who has to fall in love with a character in every movie or TV show.

MrsHenryCrawford I love that typo - Heathery Graham is a GREAT name

IdaBlankenship · 04/11/2015 22:01

Oh and i did just re-watch Ross & Demelza getting together on YouTube earlier - that was a good snog.

MamaMary · 04/11/2015 22:18

The North and South one is unbelievably good. Romantic, sexy, erotic, tender, loving and satisfying - the way it is choreographed is so convincing.

When I first saw it I watched it about 20 times

The young and extremely beautiful Marlon Brando kissing Eve Marie Saint in 'On The Waterfront'. He even moans and has a bit of a swoon while he's doing it.... Ah, the PASSION! ^^

SinisterBumFacedCat · 05/11/2015 00:01

Linda and Spike in Press Gang Blush

Quantum of Sausage at the end in the car. You don't even see them kiss but there's a lot of dialogue in that one moment, recognition, regret and acceptance.

ThisIsntFunnyDean · 05/11/2015 08:27

quantum of sausage

*dies

OnIlkelyMoorBahtat · 05/11/2015 08:40

That is the best typo ever, ThisIsntFunnyDean: it'll always be 'Quantum of Sausage' to me now - cheers!

MrsJayy · 05/11/2015 08:43

This has been mentioned but when Sawyer and kate kiss in lost when he is tied up oh myy . When Amy and sheldon first kissed on big bang theroy was very sweet. When jean and Logan (wolverine ) kissed in Xmen then she imploded

ARichVernacular · 05/11/2015 08:50

SinisterBumFacedCat I also love Lynda and Spike's kisses Grin

Buffy and Spike in the house is very hot, but also their first screen kiss in Spike's dream was a real drop everything and my-thighs-are-suddenly-on-fire moment.

Sherlock through the window = hotness.

On aa slightly different note, Rik Mayall and Phoebe Cates at the end of Drop Dead Fred. It's so tender and chaste but with hints of so much more...as someone with a lifelong crush on the much missed Rik :( it left a deep impression on me.

murphys · 05/11/2015 08:54

Dermot Mulroney and Debra Messing in the Wedding Date. When he pushes her against the car.....hmm

My other one isn't actually a kissing scene, but its the bit in Troy when Achilles gives the cousin the rag to wash with, and she throws it back at him...

bushtailadventures · 05/11/2015 08:58

The kiss between Vincent D'onofrio and Renee Zellweger in The Whole Wide World :

or

The kiss in The Velocity Of Gary..again with Vincent D'onofrio, but with Thomas Jane as his partner :

I may be biased though Grin

LittleMissAIBU · 05/11/2015 09:53

Oh thought of another one, the one at the end of clueless, I used to watch the end bit again and again, rewinding it on the video player

circlelake · 05/11/2015 10:54

twistin you beat me to it. :)

Roobix04 · 05/11/2015 11:24

Honorary mention to the kiss at the end of The Princess Bride.
"Since the invention of the kiss, there have only been five kisses that were rated the most passionate, the most pure. This one left them all behind."

Bambambini · 05/11/2015 11:36

Maria and Captain Vonn Trapp
Witness - probably my favourite romantic scene and story ever.
Room With A View - the kiss in the field.
officer and A Gentleman when he sweeps her up

Ok a silly one - but the first kiss between Azazeal and Cassie in Hex - crazy hot.

Completely forgot about Tom Berenger - he was gorgeous, especially in Betrayed (I think) with Debra Winger

Stripyhoglets · 05/11/2015 11:45

Twist and Circle - Yes the Muller and Scully kiss, best ever after all the years of anticipation!! Although the Good Wife kiss was pretty good too.

Daffodil3228 · 05/11/2015 13:00

I saw the film French kiss with meg Ryan and Kevin Kline a few years ago at a friend's place- just loved the way the characters were not perfect and when they were not fancying each other they were winding each other up...hmm says something about my idea of relationships lol!!
Going to have to watch it again for the bit where Kevin Kline kisses Meg Ryan on the train when she's asleep and she thinks he is someone else...sounds so wrong but it's so cute!!
Off to trawl YouTube :-)

Daffodil3228 · 05/11/2015 13:07

Also the princess bride Roobix04!!
Best happy ending ever. Although my fave romantic bit is when Westley rolls down the hill after princess buttercup and pins her down in that field...ooh Cary Elwes dressed as a sexy pirate lol!! What happened to him I wonder...
Off to trawl Internet to see if Cary Elwes is still fit Grin

Partybugs · 05/11/2015 13:10

The film 'never been kissed' with Drew barrymore. It's the kiss in the sports stadium. Lush

Cocolepew · 05/11/2015 13:11

There was a scene in The Sopranos were Carmela and Tony are in their pool and Tony moves over and kisses her

Partybugs · 05/11/2015 13:12

magicstar1 · 05/11/2015 13:35

Is the North & South you're all mentioning the English one from BBC? I kept thinking it was the Patrick Swayze one!

If it's that good I'll have to have a look.

GoboTheGoat · 05/11/2015 13:37

Zoe and Wade in Hart of Dixie when she blows the fuse to get him to come over. It was a bit more than a kiss...but OMG.
