I saw this with my 12 & 16yos last night, and soooooo glad I didn't take my 10yo, even though I could have.

Genuinely surprised it's a 12A. Some very gory bits in it in my opinion ShockJust wanted to let others know.

A great film though Smile

We took Ds who is 11. D is very squeamish (won't watch holby or casualty) but he loved it. I thought there was a lot less sex & gore than expected. The camera cut away so more was insinuated.
I'm needle phobic so the needle scene made me squirm & what was implied in the eyes scene to but I'd say 12A was about right.

There was a lot of Austin Powes in there, the crater lair, falling through a building and Landing on the sofa, the countless moments when Blofeld could have just shot him but instead ineptly tied him up. By the end I wouldn't have been surprised if Bond had danced naked off that bridge while to Bosa nova music surrounded by cartwheeling policemen.

Ive always enjoyed James Bond, unfortunately I didn't enjoy this one. It seemed to have too much of "seen before" and not much new or interesting storylines. Mildly interesting tho was the scenery. On the other hand my DH thoroughly enjoyed it.

12A Shock
I hadn't realised that!
eye gouging, torture, shagging and a desperate man shooting himself in the head doesn't seem suitable until 15
Lack of "gore" aside not necessary
