Got to be dirty dancing for me. Total snorefest of dull. Never even got to the end.

East is East - what a bore. The (un)Talented Mr Ripley - hells teeth - we kept waiting for it to get better - and it didn't!

redshoeblueshoe · 09/07/2015 19:02

Anything with Tom Cruise in
Any American comedy
Titanic
Forest Gump

FretYeNotAllIsShiny · 09/07/2015 19:02

Avatar.
Forest Gump
Withnail and I
Mamma Mia.

MsVestibule · 09/07/2015 20:40

Sex, Lies and Videotape. It was supposed to be a cool film, but just dull, dull, dull. Andie McDowell was one of the main characters, so that probably explains it.

Star Wars - couldn't even follow the plot line I was so bored.

LOTR

roselover · 10/07/2015 01:03

Ground Hog Day - actually made me ill - I get a nervous tick just thinking about it - Grrrr

LassUnparalleled · 10/07/2015 01:07

Amelie. She'd be so annoying in real life.

Star Wars

Bellebella · 10/07/2015 01:12

ET- I find it so boring, never liked it from a child.

Kiwiinkits · 10/07/2015 01:18

People love shawshank redemption. I can't stand Morgan Freemans condescending angelic VoiceOver. Puts me off every one of the thousand or so films where his VoiceOver has been featured.

Kiwiinkits · 10/07/2015 01:19

Yy Amelie. A twee little twerp in real life.

BualadhBos · 10/07/2015 01:28

The Notebook. I don't get why she loved him so much, I found him very annoying.

sharonthewaspandthewineywall · 10/07/2015 02:45

All of the back to the future movies. Boring, geeky and just plain overrated horse shit.

FixItUpChappie · 10/07/2015 04:07

At the top of my head...

-Forest Gump
-Titanic

English Patient

whatlifestylechoice · 10/07/2015 06:36

Fargo. I just didn't get it.

ClaudiaNaughton · 10/07/2015 07:30

Mama Mia - embarrassing somehow
Exotic Marigold Hotel x2 - ditto
Lord of the Rings
Star Wars

splodge77 · 10/07/2015 22:56

Pulp fiction

Aridane · 10/07/2015 23:04

Oh yes - all of the above!

Everythinghaschanged · 10/07/2015 23:11

Mamma Mia - very bad acting, even worse singing
Amelie - I love French films but this did nothing for me
Forrest Gump - passed me by
Priscilla queen of the desert - not funny
The elephant man - should have been good but just not

UsedToBeAPaxmanFan · 12/07/2015 09:38

Mamma Mia - so awful I actually switched it off after 30 minutes thinking "Meryl, how could you?"

Best Exotic Hotel Marigold - patronising to the point of racism. Dh and I were Hmm

The 100 foot Journey - my friends raved about this, but dh and I struggled to stay awake it was so boring.

Just googled ages of cast of Grease. Definitely NOT 40s. Olivia is older than John T though and, of course, neither are high school age. In my experience even American high school students don't look remotely their ages.
I first saw Grease with a boyfriend and we were the only two in the cinema laughing sometimes.
Grease will always be better than any American High School film of course.

Kill Bill is really funny, which is why I loved it.

I don't think I have ever hated a film I've watched. Those I have really not liked I have forgotten, so don't have an answer for this thread really. I'd have to think too long to remember one. Though Transformers 2 was a total waste of time and I think Frozen is totally over hyped.

I didn't watch either Aliens or Silence of the Lambs for ages, because they were supposed to be sooooo scary. I did eventually watch them I wondered what the heck the fuss was about.

MrsSkywalker205 · 14/07/2015 16:19

I'm disgusted that nobody seems to have said this yet:

50 shades of sodding grey. Just utter drivel and yet my news feed seemed to think that it was the best film ever. Hmm

BeautifulBatman · 14/07/2015 16:22

Mama Mia. I'm glad other have said this too, I thought I was on my own. I felt mugged of two hours of my life after watching that at the cinema. Makes me angry now thinking about it!
