Got to be dirty dancing for me. Total snorefest of dull. Never even got to the end.

OP posts:
GoodGriefTheComediansABear · 03/07/2015 14:11

The snoozefest where he digs a hole out of prison.

The borefest when he pervs on a girl who looks 12 and then gets shot in the back of the head.

MadeMan · 03/07/2015 14:16

Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Far, far too much of an annoying smug bastard character to be likable and I hate the song Twist and Shout due to the association. Awful film; his mate Cameron should have repeatedly reversed the Ferrari over him.

Matthew Broderick redeemed himself with Biloxi Blues though, so all is forgiven. Smile

GoodGriefTheComediansABear · 03/07/2015 14:16

And i didnt get past the first LOTR film purely because they left the best character in the whole fucking books out....what abominations would be in the next two? I wondered. (fwiw my favourite scene in the book when the forest swallows the orcs was also apparently missing).

BlueBabe74 · 03/07/2015 14:19

Harry Potter. Shocking acting from the main character. Though I did fall asleep about half way through. Never watched any of the following films.

MadeMan · 03/07/2015 14:20

The Blues Brothers Responsible for middle aged men turning up at fancy dress parties in funeral suits and sunglasses because they're boring arseholes too cool to wear proper fancy dress outfits.

Pagalee · 03/07/2015 14:23

Lord of the Rings, definitely. I can't stand fantasy films.

Agree with Mama Mia (stupid stupid storyline, although I like Abba) and Moulin Rouge (cringe).

I find Hitchcock films hard work.

queensansastark · 03/07/2015 14:23

Mama Mia
Star Wars
Lost in translation

And anything with Nicole Kidman or George clooney in it.

sweetfluffybunnies · 03/07/2015 14:25

Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Recommended by friends as a great feel good movie, lots of raving about it in the media etc.

One of the most boring films I have ever seen, although I did fall asleep halfway through so maybe the second half was better? I'm not going to bother watching it again to find out.

PersonalClown · 03/07/2015 14:25

Star Wars. I just couldn't give a shit.
Which is sacrilegious since I am a card carrying geek!

WhatWouldGibbsDo · 03/07/2015 14:30

Yy to Mamma Mia and the one where he digs a hole out of prison! Also Donnie Darko - despite intellectually knowing what it's about as soon as I try to think about it the plot just does not make sense Confused.

Ladymoods · 05/07/2015 18:24

Bridesmaids. I watched it because so many people told me how funny it was. It wasn't. Same as all the other crappy American chick flicks even with Chris O'Dowd who I totally adore.

Magic bloody Mike

It was crap.

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 05/07/2015 18:42

Pulp Fiction/Reservoir Dogs/Kill Bill. I have watched some of one or more of them, possibly all three, but they were so unutterably boring and full of themselves and their own amaaaaaaazingness that I have blocked out the memories.

Also a little known Kung Fu movie called Kung Fu Hustle (I think). Drivel.

Davros · 05/07/2015 23:29

Knocked Up - tame crap
