What's the one where the woman goes off to a Greek Island and 'makes fuck' with a Greek Geezer?

VulcanWoman · 19/07/2015 16:09

Shirley Valentine, love it!

Pepperpot99 · 19/07/2015 16:11

Aah yes, thanks. Love that one!

VulcanWoman · 19/07/2015 16:14

Was going to buy Letter to Brezhnev dvd, really expensive though, haven't seen it since the 80's I don't think, why don't they put these films on TV instead of repeating Kindergarten Cop for the millionth time.

GraceGrape · 19/07/2015 16:15

Hope and Glory

VulcanWoman · 19/07/2015 16:16

Gregory's Girl is one of my favourite films.

silkoversatin · 19/07/2015 16:59

I bet they all look incredibly dated now, especially Letter to Breznev!!! . I used to love Peter Greenaway's films, Draughtman's Contract, Zed and 2 Noughts. 'Prick Up Your Ears' was a belter too.

Rathalie · 19/07/2015 17:09

A month in the country
Peter's friends
Henry V (can you tell I love Ken?)
Living Daylights
A room with a view

LeBearPolar · 19/07/2015 17:27

Can't believe no one's mentioned Chariots of Fire yet...

I can't believe I'm amongst such a multitude of other fans of Rita and Sue and Bob Too!

Was Wish You Were Here that one Emily Lloyd starred in? She played a rebellious girl/young woman growing up in a seaside town, possibly Brighton.
