Snakes on a Plane - it makes NO sense

Anyone watching? Why are there so many snakes?
Why did they escape from an exploding box in the hold below but then get into the main bit from above shagging in the loo couple?
How were shagging couple shagging while she was wearing shorts?
Why didn't they use the dog as bait? Why wasn't the dog in the hold?
Why are they all so useless?

Planes have lots of tubes and tunnels, easy for snake to get to the top of the plane.
Hate to shatter your delusions but there are far too many bulkheads for that to be a possibility!

Such an awful film but strangely hilarious.
Best to switch your brain off when watching it though.

hiddenhome · 13/06/2015 23:32

Oh it's great, so funny. We love it, and I have two pet snakes.

FeelingSmurfy · 13/06/2015 23:41

I always think of this when I hear/see that film mentioned!

Snakes on a Plane - it makes NO sense
TaliZorahVasNormandy · 14/06/2015 00:22

Ah yeah Mystery Should have remembered that.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 14/06/2015 00:25

Actually, how did that massive boa got that far into the plane where it was?

TooOldForGlitter · 14/06/2015 00:26

Having been lucky enough to catch 'Poseidon Rex' on the syfy channel today I can safely say that snakes on a plane looks highbrow in comparison.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 14/06/2015 01:04

Snakes on a plane also beats Sharknado.

TooOldForGlitter · 14/06/2015 01:11

I do believe Poseidon Rex would beat Sharknado...it was a sea dwelling t-rex with fins fgs!! None of your sharky windy nonsense Grin and it had that fella out of Charmed in it.

I haven't seen it. What's it about?

Tweezertastic · 14/06/2015 07:25

I love this film! It has it all !

hiddenhome · 14/06/2015 18:19

I haven't seen it. What's it about?

It's about some snakes who take over a plane and terrorise the occupants. They've been put there deliberately by.......I can't remember who tbh. It's. Bloody great though Grin

Mummageddon · 14/06/2015 18:36

Haha CharityBarnum nice one!

CharityBarnum · 14/06/2015 23:53

(I would quite like to see this though)

LineRunner · 14/06/2015 23:59

Maryz, this is not the work of a cook!

Bogeyface · 15/06/2015 00:05

Wasnt the whole point of the film "how bad can things be?"?

I understood that Samuel L Jackson only wanted to be part of it because the title was so good and really B-Movie-esque. So it was supposed to be a bit of a parody of disaster movies.

I am not sure about any of the above, just vaguely remembering lectures from H when we were watching it, after I asked all of the above questions! :o

Bogeyface · 15/06/2015 00:06

Dead Calm..... was that that piece of shite with Stephen "I am not 60, I am not wearing a corset" Segal? That wasnt even funny, it was just awful! And that blonde woman couldnt act to save her life!

Ginrummy · 15/06/2015 00:11

Snakes on a Plane and Sharknado. Best rubbish films ever.
Dead calm is the very good film with Nicole Kidman and the gorgeous billy zane, not Steven seagull.

Ginrummy · 15/06/2015 00:14

Under seige is what you're thinking of Bogey.

Bogeyface · 15/06/2015 00:19

Oh yes! He was cook wasnt he? Terrible film either way!

Bogeyface · 15/06/2015 00:23

Octoshark was AMAZING!

As was Ghost Shark and Dinoshark.

Basically if it has Debbie Gibson or Tiffany in it, then you know it is going so crap that its brilliant!

Oh and Robocroc, which is definitely worth a watch only because it has Keith Duffy in it (incidentally, the only one in it who could act!)!

trufflesnout · 15/06/2015 00:25

How did all the snakes know to get on the plane? Which was the first snake on the plane and how did he get the message to his friends to get on the same plane.

Bogeyface · 15/06/2015 00:26

Talking of films on boats, I remember seeing a bit of one where a group were on holiday on a yacht and all jumped into the sea without remembering to put the ladder down so they could get aboard again. There was a baby left asleep on board that woke up screaming. As if that wasnt bad enough, they were getting picked off one by one by some murderous person or animal or something.

Never did find out what happened and I cant google it because I dont know what it was called!

Ginrummy · 15/06/2015 00:31

Oh god that's Adrift! Was on TV the other day. You should watch it just so you can shout at the TV at the end!
I'm intrigued by all those films you listed - can't believe I've not heard of them.
