For films so toe curlingly bad, they need to be shared.

I'll give you, "Walking On Sunshine". So bad and not in a good way. It made Mama Mia look well acted. And Greg Wise?!!! Didn't he used to have a decent career?!! What happened?!

Glen we just watched zombeavers the other night, we liked it tho as it was so crap we laughed watching most of it Grin

Violetcloud · 23/06/2015 16:02

I loved requiem for a dream! It is a shockingly grim film though.

A friend showed me Tusk a while back. There could be nothing worse in this world than the things I saw in that film. Nothing. And somehow, it seemed to have Johnny Depp in it!

Morro · 24/06/2015 23:26

I'd completely forgotten about "a million ways to die in the west", I was actually getting angry at how bad it was and how long it was dragging on for, I didnt see it through until the end.

PoppyField · 25/06/2015 17:53

Hello Eastpoint - I went to see The New Girlfriend - I thought it was terrible, and I liked previous films by that director. It didn't half go on didn't it? Not interesting.

Also, Event Horizon - I agree, yes it was scary but what was the point?

BoxOfKittens · 28/06/2015 15:54

There's a few that I love in this thread! Especially Ruby Sparks, I thought that it was quirky in a good way!

One that I thought I'd love but barely survived through was Synecdoche, New York

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 28/06/2015 19:48

I loved Osage August County thing filmGrin

NotReallyAPrincess · 28/06/2015 19:55

I watched Imagine Me and You a couple of weekends ago. A review on the DVD cover claimed "The best rom-com since Notting Hill" (which to be fair is a film I have always felt quite meh about) and it was just pants. Thankfully quite short though so not too much time wasted!

Megandavids · 30/06/2015 11:31

Gone Girl. Even Ben Affleck couldn't make up for the many hours I lost watching that film!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 30/06/2015 11:44

I agree, the book was bad enough ,I have no idea why I watched the film too!

DrEdwardNigma · 02/07/2015 02:34

Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind.

Or what ever rubbish title it is, I can't even remember what happens, I got so bored!!

passthewineplz · 02/07/2015 04:01

A.I Artifical intelegence with Jude Law, it starts off well but WTF is the ending all about?!

Also the Tom Cruise musical Rock of ages, fuck me it's awful.

I also had to turn the great gatsby off, and the last hunger games film off as they both were truely awful

VashtaNerada · 02/07/2015 04:07

Aw, Where the Wild Things Are And Eternal Sunshine are two of my favourite films!
This thread does remind me however of the time DH took me to see a godawful vampire film called Blade I think and I actually found myself at one point staring at the fire exit because it was more exciting than the film! Grin More recently we watched a terrible film with Colin Firth about a teenager training to be a spy. It was so terrible we kept looking at each other as if to say "really??" before dissolving into giggles!
Kingsman! That's what it was called. It was just so bad.

ASettlerOfCatan · 02/07/2015 23:39

White Chicks. Worst film ever.

DoTheDuckFace · 02/07/2015 23:42

Mama
The last exorcism
The last house on the left
Ouija

My horror film choices have been appalling in the last few years.

AnImpalaCalledBABY · 02/07/2015 23:45

Lucy

What the actual fuck was that about?! It started out ok but by the end I was just gobsmacked at how shit it was Grin

Senigallia · 02/07/2015 23:51

Yes, Lucy was batshit crazy.

Can't believe a PP described the score to Into the Woods as terrible! I can see why someone might not like the film, but I don't think Stephen Sondheim can be described as terrible!

fortifiedwithtea · 03/07/2015 10:03

Senigalia that was me. Into the Woods was an assault on the eardrums IMO.

I agree with you about Lucy. It was like the script writers' came up with a good idea and didn't know how to finish it.

I enjoyed A.I. The ending was really sad in the proper meaning of the word.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 03/07/2015 10:06

I really enjoyed LucyGrin

Wishful80sMontage · 03/07/2015 10:10

Watched one with Adam Sandler (I know, I know) and Jennifer Anniston pretending to be his wife it's just.so.bad.
I'm one of those people though where I have to see it through. It's was hard

echt · 04/07/2015 04:55

Another suckered in to watching "Event Horizon" after and MN thread. Meh.

Years ago, DH and I staggered home after heavy Chunnel shopping in Calais to see "American Psycho" was about start.

We thought it was a comedy. Shock :o

Apparently in some cinema circles it is thought to have its comedic moments.

yakari · 04/07/2015 05:04

'Blended' another Adam Sandler film but with Drew Barrymore. And bizarrely racist - it was like watching a slow motion car crash you knew you should look away but somehow couldn't

goodasitgets · 04/07/2015 05:07

Open Water
Donkey Punch
Death tunnel

INeedSomeHelp · 04/07/2015 05:23

I'm glad other people have said Birdman. I just couldn't get my head round it at all and thought I must be missing something.

WhereTheFuckIsMyFuckingCoat · 04/07/2015 05:52

The birdcage. Not. Funny. In. The. Slightest.

Sharknado. I know, I know. Was as awful as it sounds!

Nacho Libre?? I love jack black but that film was fucking tragic.

All those hours I'll never get back again!

ThatsNotEvenAWord · 04/07/2015 06:25

Marie Antoinette. It ends just as something starts to happen
