Mine has to be "yo yo yo and a cup of hot cocoa" Robin Williams in Mrs Doubtfire. Makes me giggle irrationally Grin

What's yours?

OP posts:
FreudiansSlipper · 06/03/2015 19:00

From When Harry met Sally

Harry: Na, you pretty much want to nail 'em too

It shouldn't make me laugh but it does Grin

Zamboni · 06/03/2015 19:01

"But why is the rum gone?" Pirates of the Caribbean.

Love the Yoyo cocoa madam doubtfire quote, along with the "it was a run by fruiting" at the pool scene.

Samantha Bond's "you're a cunning linguist" is superbly delivered.

Clawdy · 06/03/2015 19:02

"Can I refill your eggnog for ya? Get ya something to eat? Drive ya out to the middle of nowhere and leave ya for dead?" National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

kavv0809 · 06/03/2015 19:07

Cardiff yy to Inigo Montoya.

Love that film.

'As you wiiiiiiish' (rolls down hill)

QueenFuri · 06/03/2015 19:08

Nobody puts Baby in the corner here too. I squeal with delight everytime .

ohmymimi · 06/03/2015 19:11

'It's like Jell-O on springs' - Jerry's comment on Sugar Kane's chassis as she sashays down the railway platform in 'Some Like it Hot'.

NiceBitOfCheese · 06/03/2015 19:14

"Nobody's perfect" - the last line of Some Like It Hot, delivered with a happy smile by Walter Matthau, who has just discovered that the 'woman' he has fallen in love with is actually Jack Lemmon in drag.

NiceBitOfCheese · 06/03/2015 19:14

ohmy - that was spooky!!

CaTsMaMmA · 06/03/2015 19:18

my fave Terminator one has already been mention "come with me, if you want to live."

Other than that Robocop

"Dead or alive, you are coming with me"
"Excuse me, I have to go. Somewhere a crime is happening."

and I love the frisson of horror that goes around the room when the first prototype Robocop says "You have 15 seconds to comply" after the fakey gun guy has ALREADY put the gun down.

Temporaryanonymity · 06/03/2015 19:19

"That would be a waste of time"

Point Break.

MrsFruitcake · 06/03/2015 19:21

'We want the finest wines available to humanity. And we want them here, and we want them now!'

Withnail and I. One of my favourite films ever.

bayrans · 06/03/2015 19:22

Where the fuck is my fucking coat?

RyanAirVeteran · 06/03/2015 19:23

After that my guess is that you will never hear from him again. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he did not exist. And like that... he is gone.

ReeseWithoutHerSpoon · 06/03/2015 19:24

That ain't no etch a sketch. This is one doodle that can't be undid home skillet.

Juno.

ShumbTucker · 06/03/2015 19:24

"Do you by any chance poke smot?" Meryl Streep - Its complicated.

WhatABaklava · 06/03/2015 19:26

From Pulp Fiction

Tim Roth: put your hand in the air this is a robbery

ohmymimi · 06/03/2015 19:29

Nice, definitely the best last line in a film! (It was Joe E. Brown, though.Smile).

Benedictinemonk · 06/03/2015 19:29

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room.

Dr. Strangelove.

3catsandcounting · 06/03/2015 19:31

Elwood Blues: It’s 106 miles to Chicago, we’ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark and we’re wearing sunglasses.
Jake Blues: Hit it!
Blues Brothers - love it!

seanbonbon · 06/03/2015 19:32

"Go sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here" Jack Nicholson - As Good As It Gets.

BippityBoppity · 06/03/2015 19:33

"You know nothing. In fact, you know less than nothing. If you knew that you knew nothing, that would be something" Point Break

"They call me Mr Tibbs" In the Heat of the Night

dalekanium · 06/03/2015 19:36

'We demand to have more booze'

(Withnail)

'It's 200 miles to Illinois ....we got a full tank of gas and half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and were wearing sunglasses '

Quoted that one to my very literal small child when we set off on a car journeywho says 'it's not dark.... You aren't wearing glasses.... What is cigarettes'?'

'Even smiling makes my face ache'

(Rocky horror)

The replicants speech in Blade runner makes the hairs stand up on my neck. Thanks for reminding me of that. Love it.

Also. Not a film but

'Don't blink'

dalekanium · 06/03/2015 19:37

X post 3 cats. I suspect you are correct too. Cba to google :)

dalekanium · 06/03/2015 19:39

Oh...and ...

'What the fuck does WTF stand for?'

Love that film :)

LeBearPolar · 06/03/2015 19:41

MrsFruitcake - one of my favourite scenes in film is Richard E. Grant reciting Hamlet's speech in the rain to the wolves in Withnail and I.

Best lines: "We've gone on holiday by mistake."

"Then the fucker will rue the day."

"You're not leaving me in here alone. Those are the kind of windows faces look in at."

And The History Boys - but this may be in the play and not the film, I can't remember:

“One of the hardest things for boys to learn is that a teacher is human. One of the hardest things for a teacher to learn is not to try and tell them.”

Poignant for me because I am a teacher...
