Have you ever walked out of the cinema because the film was so awful?

I did, "under siege" with Stephen Seagal in it.
It was a sneak preview, where you didn't know beforehand which film you were going to see.

Demanded to go and see another film 45 minutes in. It was appalling.

Blue Velvet did it for me. I lasted until some scene with birds on a branch, and then discreetly sneaked out...and found that about 6 members of the audience were following my lead!

Also the first time I saw Fatal Attraction i was horrified by it's mysogyny and wasn't enjoying it so left before the end. later I watched the directors cut and liked it a lot more.

I have slept through more, including the matrix.

Jools and I wanted to - Casino - but we were stuck in the middle of a big row so we just sat there. Hard to believe now - can't believe JT didn't get up huffing and puffing so everyone knew she hated it! IT's what she'd do now!!

I've slept through tons of films but have never walked out of any.

DH's mate was going on for ages about the Planet Of The Apes film, getting excited at the prospect etc. He went to see it and walked out 10 minutes into the film.

Yep - The Last Starfighter. About 1984. We called it "the last strawfighter".

Once went to the pictures in with two friends and we couldn't agree on what to see so we all went to see different films and met up at the end!

Yes, I've done this twice. Once was Wayne's World 2 - I was pressganged into going to see it by school friends, but just couldn't sit through it, I went and read a book in the toilets instead - and the other time was The Idiots, because it made me so angry I wanted to spit.

I walked out of The Blair Witch Project to have a smoke.

And spied a pub across the road from the cinema.
