Watched this today, and left two lady OAPs arguing furiously about the end.

Interesting film - was the soundtrack buggered, or does it really wooow and streeeetch to indicate moments of tension?

I can see how some critics assess it as being a horror film.

Natalie Portman was very good. as was bizarro Winona Ryder in a tiny but perfectly-formed role.

Echt As soon as the film finished and me and mate had stopped laughing she said 'Can you just imagine the spoofs that they are going to make!'

I'm off to youtube to have a look!

Saw this yesterday with 15 year old DD (DH wanted to see True Grit and we didn't fancy it so DD said could we see this)

We didn't enjoy it very much. I found it very dark and disturbing and several times we were both curled up in our seats with out hands over our eyes. Really didn't expect the violence. Or the lesbian sex and masturbation scenes come to think of it - just as well it was only me and DD I think DH would have been embarassed!
