Campaign for Father Ted the Musical

I'm not one to be beholden, but Graham Lineham has been a steadfast support, right from the beginning.

Currently his musical, which he devised, is ready for production but Hatrick Productions refuse to allow it because he believes in biological sex.

Now with the court ruling is there anything that can be done to support him getting Father Ted the Musical into theatres?

I don’t support glinner making that rather stereotypically male response to a problem, however there’s a pretty massive difference between him threatening pain on males who violate women’s spaces, and transactivists threatening death to women who are merely peacefully and legally defending those spaces.

Like I said- double standards and a complete lack of self-awareness. If anyone says or writes anything mean towards gender critical people the users here want them arrested, but are simultaneously desperate to defend violent men dishing out threats who are on their own side.

A salutory reminder that although the process is the punishment it is also a great opportunity to gather round those of us that pay the price for bravely standing up to this toxic nonsense in he face of these increasingly tiresome intimidation tactics.

We all know which side send death threats, publish people’s addresses etc. The diabolical behaviour of some of these activists does nothing to advance their cause. The only reason many of them aren’t dragged through the courts is because normal people don’t make it their profession to do so.

I can see many people online are saying it is ridiculous for the CPS to prosecute over a tussle with a phone, especially given the circumstances, but I know from experience that it's treated very seriously when they do get around to it. My nephew was sentenced to 15 months over a physical tussle with another bloke with the other guy's phone being smashed up, similar sounding in terms of what happened with Glinner in some respects - it was classed as assault in his case. Even fairly low levels of criminal damage can result in sentencing.

At least GL is now being dealt with by criminal charges and being sued. Maybe more charges will follow too.

Your sources are not credible especially for serious accusations such as what you are making. Anyone can start up an online blog and make any claim they want.

Mumsnet really needs to bring in rules about posters having an onus to provide credible sources for accusations made about people if they don't already.

There was some sexual harassment made by him towards Izzard a while back too. Something along the lines of Graham making a violent threat of "dragging her out the toilets by her kinky boots".

How is that sexual harassment? One man expressing anger at another man for abusing women? I remember Izzard proudly boasting of how he scared a group of teenage girls out if the women’s toilets.

And to all you TRAs: I wish you would have the honesty to stop dragging the LGB in with the homophobic T.
