Citalopram - recurrence of side effects after several months

Dear All,

I have been on Citalopram for 12 months now and over the past couple of weeks I have had a recurrence of the side effects I had when I first went on it - upset stomach with pains, lack of appetite, dizzy spells and 'fuzzy' head. I was feeling much more like my old self up until this point but I am feeling low at various points throughout the day and struggling to concentrate. Has anyone else had this after being free of side effects for several months?

Your best to go back to your doctor & discuss this, there are various strengths of Citalopram so they may be able to alter your dosage.

It shouldn't just be stopped though, it's the type of ad that needs to be reduced slowly & again your GP will be able to give you a plan.

i felt the same a few times, when i got a new pack from a different company i guess.
