Nearly fainted when I saw he had a student in with him.

Doc asked how things were and I answered without thinking "crap." He looked a bit surprised but said it was fine when I apologised.

On full whack tablets.
Is referring me to a psychiatrist.
I asked for help with the children and he said he will ring the health visitor.
Have to go back and see him in a month.
I cried.
DH came with me but didn't say anything.
We need to talk later.

Thanks to all who have stuck by me and not deserted me as I have been a pain, I know.

This is brilliant! Well done! Do your best to work hard with the professionals and try not to become disheartened if it has to get worse before it gets better.

Lets hope the tablets help and professionals do their bit

I felt a bit sorry for the student actually. I wanted to say not all the doctor's patients were as low as me and some of them won't cry.

don't feel sorry for the student
he/she wants to learn and we need more Doctors educated and aware of problems like depression etc.
it ain't a dirty secret you know
well done

I'm so glad your gp was helpful, and also your dh. Fingers crossed for a quick and effective psych app.

Well done - it sounds like you got things moving
