"Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway" by Susan Jeffers is good

Seligman is an worthwhile author - the king of positive psychology and original author of Learned Helplessness. Wiki him and see if you like it !

Another recommendation for Gael Lindenfield. Staying Sane by Raj Persaud is also good - I know there was all that fuss about plaigiarims but I found the book very helpful. Feel the Fear also gets my vote. Another good book is by Mark Forster - How to Get Everything Done and Still Have Time to Play. I think if you're organised in your life it can make you feel better and more confident.

I liked Paul McKenna's Instant Confidence. I found it logical and reassuring and not patronising like some self help books

I used this book and can highly recommend it:
www.amazon.co.uk/Overcoming-Low-Self-esteem-Behavioural-Techniques/dp/1854877259/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8& s=books&qid=1233759665&sr=8-1

Another vote for feel and fear and do it anyway. Really made me see my life very differently. Not a confidence book as such but just shows you there are not wrong choices in life.
