Tired of the Long Waiting Times for GP and Mental Health Appointments? Anyone Else Feeling Stuck?

I can’t be the only one feeling this way does anyone else get caught in endless waits for healthcare appointments? Whether it’s a GP visit or seeing a mental health professional, the waiting times are so long. It feels like every time I reach out, I’m told it’s not urgent enough to be seen quickly or given a 3+ week wait.
It’s honestly so frustrating when you need answers or help fast but are stuck in limbo.
Has anyone else been in this situation? How do you manage it? Is there a quicker way to get seen when everything feels like it’s moving at a snail's pace?
I’d love to hear if anyone knows of any solutions or platforms that can help speed things up.

What's with the All Caps Title? Are you about to announce a solution or platform that can speed things up?

The obvious solution is to pay for private medical insurance or self fund the treatment yourself. I realise that not everyone is in a financial position to be able to do that though.

I wonder if anyone has an app or service to suggest here? Look forward to hearing!

It’s crap OP, I support people with MH issues and honestly even quote significant MH issues are taking so long to get to the MH unit….all needs to go via the MH practitioners first. Then when people are seen they are told, “we will phone you in three months time to follow up! “

I was saying to one of the GPs I work with that I cannot believe what passes as “MH care” these days. It’s awful,

3 weeks is good! I waited over 2 years.
