I’m currently on holiday (back home tomorrow) my anxiety has been horrendous this holiday constantly thinking the worst (that I have a uti and It was going to get worse) I stopped my period 5 day ago and now suffering bottom back pain , thigh pain and feel sick. I’ve worked myself right up thinking something is wrong with me that I’m unable to enjoy my holiday. my partner works away so I have the 3 boys most times myself and I feel like my anxiety has just stemmed from the stress I’ve been in recently but this holiday my health anxiety has been through the roof because I’m not in the comfort of my own home feeling like rubbish.

has anyone suffered these pains after period ? I’m getting into my head and over thinking a lot.

Im so sorry your going through this also , I hope you feel better soon and it’s all just a phase we are going through just now , just stay positive 🩷 The body is wild , I also wonder what is going on with my body , I’m only 27 but ever since having my 3rd son my cycle has been 45-50 day and my back an thighs hurt before and after my period , I was told by doctors that I have pmdd ( worse than pms) so wondering if I’ve had a flare up after my period this time around.
life is very stressful and so much is going on in the world right now that our anxiety is through the roof without actually feeling it then boom it’s just hit you. 🥺 hope you feel better soon 🥰 @Stillpoor

Very unscientific opinion but I found when I was younger I used to get muscle pains like these. Also had them again when I took the progesterone only pill which made me think it might be linked to progesterone.

I used to follow the cycle diet a bit when I was younger which is basically keeping blood sugar lower in first half of cycle as estrogen flourishes when blood sugar is lower (eating healthy fats for energy).

And higher in second half (eating more carb for energy) as progesterone flourishes when blood sugar is higher.

All my hormones are dropping now I'm 45 so it doesn't really work anymore, but anecdotally I did find it helped.

You have my sympathies , nothing worse than not feeling great on holiday - what do you need to help you feel better?
