Venlafaxine effects wearing off after a few months

I started on Venlafaxine about three months ago. It made a huge difference to me really quickly, I felt really energise and my mood was excellent. I am finding that my old symptoms are coming back now. I am on 37.5mg. I don't really want to increase my dose if this is likely to keep happening.

Obviously I will make a GP appointment, but just interested to hear if others had experienced similair. I'm gutted as I felt so well on it and am hoping it might just be a blip

I've been taking venlafaxine for over a year now and love it, my dosage has increased to 3 of those 37.5mg capsules, but only because I wanted more from the initial effects. I don't think it's worn off at all, and actually I've found the positive effects to be compounding! Hopefully this is just a blip like you said, but if it continues you might want to look into trying the higher dose. Best of luck to you 🌸
