i've been turned down twice now and don't really think i could go into the ins and outs of how i feel with a complete non medical stranger

blushingm, the DLA form is a nightmare to fill in, and many people with physical as well as mental health problems get turned down for it when they should be entitled.

Did they give reasons why u were turned down? Do u agree with these reasons?

i don't need help with mobility which i agree with. They say i'm not a risk to myself or others......i don't agree with this - i've considered self harm and suicide before - they asked my registrar to fill out a form but i don't know what she wrote

My mum(bipolar)had to appeal twice before she finally got DLA,she got it at the higher rate aswell oddly enough.

When are u due 2 see him again? Try asking him about what he wrote. Its likely that the decision is based on what he has written.

And people with mental health problems can be awarded mobility DLA- someone with agoraphobia who needs somone to accompany them outside for example
