I'm thinking of going back on an SSRI but trying to do some research before talking to my GP about which one might suit me best. I tend to feel a bit flustered in the appointment and want to make sure I have the facts so I don't feel pressured into a quick decision in the appointment.
I've taken sertraline before but developed bad acid reflux while I was on it. The reflux continued even though I have been off sertraline for 2 years so don't think I can blame the sertraline but it's known for causing gastro problems.
Is there an SSRI that tends to be better for gastro issues? I also have tachycardia so need to avoid anything that might exacerbate that. My main mental health issue is health anxiety.
