Anyone else run out of ADs - IT outage

The IT outage meant I could not get my script and its still not there. I ran out yesterday. Taking it hour by hour. Hope they are there this afternoon.

Can you phone the surgery and pharmacy to chase it. I have had to do this with my daughters prescription previously when her dose increased and I got caught out by how quickly we used the bottle. If your regular pharmacy doesn't have it in stock today you can ask for the prescription to be released to you then you can phone around all of the local pharmacies to see who has it in stock.
If you phone a boots they can check the stock in all the other boots in your local area which can save you some leg work.

I generally find the GPs are quite helpful when you say you've run out and need it sorting today.

Your regular pharmacy should be able to give you an advance so your aren’t without them. They then just deduct what they gave you when issuing the full prescription. Ask the pharmacy and tell them you have completely run out.

Your regular pharmacy should be able to rush it through for you if you explain.

I am sorry but often the pharmacist will give you a small amount while waiting for a prescription. I do hope you get your meds today.

Thanks. I'm chasing the GP now. Its not on repeat yet as I only had one script issued then they want to review so this one is an exceptional request . The review is Wednesday. So maybe the pharmacy can give me 2!
