Hi all
looking for a recommendation for a thorough assessment for adhd. I’m a bit disillusioned with a lot I see that you can do by zoom online as they are huge costs and only for maybe an hour . I can’t understand how adhd can be diagnosed in that time , how you can discuss the intricacies of adhd in day to day life in an individual in an hour .
would like to go person to person preferably in London or the Greater London area if anyone has any recommendations
thanks in advance

Look into Right to Choose, it’s far quicker than NHS but funded with the NHS.

I did right to choose with nhs referal for an asd assessment. Was happy with the service and felt it was thorough enough. 13 months from requesting gp referal to diagnosis. Had questionnaire at beginning, then further questionnaires for me and a relative to complete, then a multi disciplinary zoom call. They did say that if they felt it needed more information they would do follow up call, seek more information. I don't think there was much difference between my assessment and teen dc assessment with nhs (except school had to provide a report too).
