I can't believe i'm actually voicing this, but it is how i feel. I adore my mum she does soooo much for me, she drives down every sunday evening (she lives 50 miles away)and stays until wednesday as i work part-time, she is a saint. However recently my 18mo dd2 seems to prefer her over me. When she banged her head yesterday she wanted my mum not me to comfort her and it was like someone had punched me in the face, a little piece of my heart broke and i actually detested my mum at that point. DD2 did the same this morning, i got her out of her cot, she gave my a lovely cuddle but as soon as she saw my mum she was straining to get away from me to her. It is really upsetting me, am i being ridiculous to have these feelings?
